Welcome to bitsofvinyl.com – my little corner of the internet where I code by day and dig through crates by night. This blog is my way of capturing the places where music and technology intersect – sometimes in harmony, sometimes in noise.
The name bits of vinyl says a lot: it’s a nod to the warmth of analog grooves and the logic of binary. I wanted to build a space where I could write about dev work and deep cuts. Where side projects and synthwave playlists live side-by-side.
What’s This Blog About?
Expect a mix of content here. Think:
- Deep dives into iconic or obscure moments in music history
- Dev experiments and tutorials – especially music-related builds
- Reflections on creativity, focus, and flow-state fuel
- Tools and gear breakdowns
- Playlists, sound experiments, and things that don’t fit anywhere else
Why This? Why Now?
Because the internet could use a little more soul. I’ve been craving a place that’s not all algorithms and hustle culture. A slower space. One where I can write without pressure. Build things for the sake of it. And maybe connect with a few other people who think the same way.
Everything popular is wrong.
– Oscar Wilde
(Also probably about algorithms.)
Thanks for being here.
More soon. Until then – stay loud, stay curious.
